Disabling Auto dialer of Microsoft Windows

Problem: Auto dialer sometime creates problem like always asking connection even you do not want to connect or dial. This dialer usually comes when any application or software is going to attempt to get remote assess connection.

How to disable: To disable the option click the Settings button and select Never dial a connection and Apply the settings.

Permanently disable this option in Windows Xp, go to Control Panel > Network Connection and click Advanced (in menu bar)> Remote Access Preference. Now remove the tick mark from My Location (the current location)

In case of Windows 7, go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center, and click Change adapter settings. If there is no menu bar, then press Alt key to get menu bar. Now click Advanced (in menu bar)> Remote Access Preference. Now remove the tick mark from My Location (the current location)

  3. Преогромное спасибище!
Звонилка просто замучила, вчера после обеда вдруг проснулась и как давай стучаться в Инет, это при том, что имеется поcтоянное соединение по Ethernet! Всё перерыл, чуть ли не рентгеном!!!
